*Evo Devo is actually Evolutionary Development Biology! I was so suprised when I found out and when people ask me what it means, I feel very smart! So this first section the author tell us more backgroung information of the animal architecture.
*Some of the words are very scientific and I had to look up most words. But here he describes the smiliaries between different organisms, like butterflies, human and zebras.
*Embryos from the development of embryos to how they mature into adults. He clarify some of that, just a little information to look to in the introduction, he'll get more into that later in the book.
* He did some reference to other scientists and biologists that came before him, and how they arrived to their conclusions and thoughts. He opened upto his own opinions.
* The Evo Devo Revolution is the starting of studies of genes and how the start and end off as, by DNA, genomes and then the tool kit paradox and origins of diversity of different organisms.

4)Questions:
*Did the author create the word Evo Devo or did it already exist? (btw, I really like that^^)
*So what is the building bloxks in animals? Is it cells? (I've learned some of this!)
*What is the "smoking guns" that he refered on page 11. of the genomes for evoltuion in forms that are being found?
*How was DNA formed? Or how did people discover and named it that way? I've always ahd a question on how people label and name scientific terms, project, and process.

*Modification: Biology. a change in a living organism acquired from its own activity or environment and not transmitted to its descendants.
*Aphorisms: A tersely phrased statement of a truth or opinion; an adage.
*Ontogeny: the development or developmental history of an individual organism.

2)Literary Terms:
*Allusion/Reference?: Sean B. Carroll refered to many different literature references of scientists and biologists books and opinions, conclusions and many many many others.
*Symbols: Many terms were symbolizing other terms such as Tool kit, which is the internal envirnoment of the organism.( I learned this in biology too!^^)

1)OverView:
Sean B. Carroll introduces us to the world of biology and so far he gave us a little of background information of different topics that all relate to biology and the EVO DEVO! The Evolutionary development for organisms and how they change.(you guys should be happy now that you know what it means. SO now when people ask you, you can answer with confidence!(=)
